Biography
"After studying Zoology at the University of Oklahoma, I worked for a year in a general practice in Kingwood. I graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. During veterinary school, I engaged in student organizations as well as a class officer for 4 years. I was involved with the Veterinary International Leadership Program and worked with international students throughout vet school while traveling internationally to gain experience. After graduation, I practiced at a mixed animal general practice for one year where I learned Spectrum of Care before the term became so important. I then transitioned to Emergency work at Emergency Pet Care of Texas where I worked for 7 years and helped the transition from overnight and weekends only, to a 24 hour practice. I have been working in Primary Care at Texas A&M full time for a year. Along with clinical and teaching responsibilities, I have continued a bi-annual outreach event in conjunction with the Texas REACH project where students gain experience in a faster pace environment."
